Back in July, we brought you the news that Ninsight, a new Nintendo magazine from Ninty Media, was coming. In a recent mailshot, Ninty Media has confirmed that the first issue of Ninsight has been successfully crowdfunded and is now available for general sale on its website. Shipping is expected in early September, and there was also news about Ninsight issue 0, which was released originally to gauge interest and test the format.

In the mailshot, Ninty Media said. “We just love point Nintendo magazines, so we thought we should make a new one, and without further ado, here it is. Ninsight is 100+ pages of Nintendo love, combining the best bits of Switch Player and Ninty Fresh into something new. A large, A4 format magazine, and this first one is packed with coverage on the Nintendo Switch 2. Miss the days of print Nintendo magazines? Then you’ll love this!”

In reference to the small reprint of issue 0, Ninty Media commented. “Due to high costs, we only made a handful of Issue 0 tests, but there seems to be a lot of demand for a reprint, so here it is, your chance to grab it! This will be an open pre-order and the only chance to get yourself a copy. These will also ship in early September. a 250-odd hard-cover tome outlining our original vision for Ninsight.”

There was further news in the wider Ninty Media update, away from Ninsight. The Top 40 GBA Special has been reduced to just £3, while the remaining stock lasts. It has “84 pages, packed with our thoughts on the top 40 GBA games as voted by our Kickstarter backers”, according to Ninty Media. Finally, there are still some copies of all three of Ninty Media’s extensive books dedicated to Game Boy hardware. Each version has 25 copies or fewer, and there are also just ten deluxe copies of the GBA book available.
