SCP Idle is a new 2D isometric incremental management game from developer Ahroma Games. It’s being released on Steam on October 29th, 2026, and currently has a demo available for those who wish to give it a go early. Set inside an expanding SCP Foundation research facility, SCP Idle: SECURE. CONTAIN. PROGRESS., to give it its full title, puts players in control of manually studying anomalies before recruiting Class D personnel, hiring scientists, and constructing new SCP containment chambers.
As the facility grows, experiments are automated, new resources and upgrades become available, and dangerous SCPs introduce risks and containment breaches. Players gradually build towards a fully simulated facility, with personnel physically traveling between rooms, experiments taking time to complete, and containment breaches wreaking havoc. Prestige directives provide new bonuses and synergies, with long-term progression leading toward completing the O5 Thaumiel Containment Engine.
