Eiyuden Chronicles Continues: The Heroic Journey Expands After Yoshitaka Murayama’s Legacy

The upcoming release of the JRPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is slated for next week across various gaming platforms including consoles and PC. The launch is overshadowed by the absence of the game’s esteemed creator, Yoshitaka Murayama, who unfortunately deceased last February.

Despite this tragic event, the continued development of the franchise remains secure. In a Reddit announcement, Rabbit & Bear Studios provided assurances of a sequel moving forward without Murayama.

Moreover, with the impending April 23 release of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, the Japanese company has issued an additional statement:

“It is very sad that Murayama is not with us anymore, but we have discussed many things with him. I hope we will be able to carry on Murayama’s legacy, and I always want to treasure his last work. I hope many people will support this game.”
